If you would use this form to describe your character so we have a good idea of them before you start posting, it'd be pretty nice.

For Beauxbatons and Salem Academy students: You do not have to submit a class list with your character information, but if you wish to, the classes are the same as those at Hogwarts, and the OWL marks are the same, the only exception being that the OWLs at Beauxbatons are sat during sixth year instead of fifth. For purposes of convenience, we're going to assume that Salem Academy's structure is near identical to Hogwarts'.

Short Description or History:

Lysander was born too two naturalists, Luna Lovegood, and Rolf Scamander. He is twin to Lorcan. While he is similar to his brother in appearance, they are very different in personalities and abilities. Lorcan has always been by the rules and very dutiful in his studies, not to mention Lorcan made Head Boy. Lysander, on the other hand is more relaxed and ok with the more than occasional rule bending. He is a spitting image of his mother, he has her blond hair and piercing blue eyes. Lysander inherited her laid back attitude and love of bizarre creatures. While he himself would prefer a different route then a naturalist he would not mind working with dangerous and deadly creatures.

He excels in the areas of Transfiguration and Arithmancy. He is one of the few people who thoroughly enjoys Care of Magical Creatures. He barely managed to scrape the necessary OWL score to continue on in Defense Against the Dark Arts. As his current ambition is to travel the world studying dangerous creatures... He however has kept his options open by taking many classes.

In his third year he was able to make it onto the Ravenclaw Quidditch team as a chaser and has fallen in love with the sport.

Short Description or History: Vela Pyxis is an American witch recruited by the British Ministry of Magic for her outstanding foreign affairs work in the medimagic community. She has a shock of chin-length, curled, white-blond hair and is very tall and thin, with an obvious American accent. After working at St. Mungo's Hospital for more than five years treating curious magical maladies, Vela desired a quieter life, and being so naive, applied for the position of Hogwarts' school nurse.
Other details: Talented at potions as well, insofar as growing the ingredients.

Short Description or History:
Dune grew up in America, he is muggle born, He attended Salem Witch's Academy. He graduated with top marks in Transfiguration, after graduating he took a year to tour the world and to refine his skill. After which he settled down and started working for the American Ministry of magic, he was 19 at the time, he worked as a liaison between the British and American Ministry. However in 97 (when he was 20), he learned of Lord Voldemort's return to power, and he immediately abandoned the safety of America and made his way to help fight him off. He was there at Hogwarts during the final stand, and when all was said and done he spent two years, helping the Ministry get back on its feet, he fully intended to head back to America and take his old job. However fate decided a different course of action for him, he had stopped by Hogwarts to Congratulate McGonagall on acquiring the position of Headmistress when she offered him a job. He found that he did not want to leave, and as such decided to stay and teach Transfiguration.

Dune has short brown hair and light brown eyes which have flecks that seem to be constantly changing color, he seems to also have a constant 5' o'clock shadow. He is 6'1'' and weighs approximately 200 lbs. Most of which is muscle, he is in great shape considering his age.

Other details: He is a registered Animagus, he can transform into a human size Antipodean Opaleye (a dragon), his distinguishing characteristics (apart from being the size of a human) is such that he has jet black scales and he has black opal eyes which are constantly changing color.

Short Description or History: Born to the notoriously Slytherin Greengrass family, Daphne is older sister to Astoria, and aunt to Scorpius Malfoy. Daphne always excelled in performing the dark arts, and not necessarily defending herself from them, but one goes hand in hand with the other, as far as everyone else is concerned. She was good friends with Pansy Parkinson when she was a student at Hogwarts, and was, as expected, the quintessential Slytherin bitch. Nothing much has changed, except that now, she's Head of House, and has learned that playing favorites doesn't need to be done discreetly.
Other details: She has dark brown hair down to her mid-back, and light brown eyes. She is a mere 5'6", and dresses mainly in deep, warm colors. Her attitude is sharp and her philosophy is that everyone either wants to be with her, or be her.

Short Description or History: During Voldemort's reign, Fay was suspected of being in line with the Dark Lord's followers because of her handiness with jinxes and the dark arts, although she had no connection to the dark wizard, but Fay's finesse with curses and countercurses did earn her a position at Gringotts soon after she gradutated from Ravenclaw house. As a cursebreaker, Fay broke ancient hexes on gold stockpiles in vaults long sealed to bring the currency back to the wizard bank for minting and wizard use. It was her notable trustworthiness with high-security information and equipment that earned her a promotion to the Department of Mysteries as an Unspeakable.

Short Description or History: Raziel is a mediocre Seer, fascinated by the unknown, all things divine, and crystal balls. No handshake can be enjoyed without turning into palmistry. His mother, a secret supporter of the Dark Lord during his reign, taught Raziel legilimensy when he was young, but never bothered to mention the parellel art of occlumensy, which he thusly never learned. With all of his mediocre abilities, Raziel has developed a grandiose sense of competence, possibly as a coping mechanism for his very underwhelming prowess with the divine arts.
Other details: Raziel is blond with dark brown eyes, 6'0", and very French.

Short Description or History: Benjy is the bastard, muggleborn product of a Korean businessman's scandalous love affair with a beautiful, flighty and naive Scotswoman. He knows nothing of the Korean half of his ancestry, and was orphaned at a young age, which hardly mattered when he received his letter to attend Hogwarts. He excelled in his subjects but was never much for making friends.

Benjy is a sharp dresser and a somewhat grumpy, taciturn man, with little tact and less sympathy; however, this has softened somewhat as he ages, leaving him almost endearingly agitated. As a wizard, he is sharp and quick, best at charms and arithmancy, and oustanding at transfiguration as well. His potionmaking is dreadful, and magical creatures detest him; so, too, do brooms. As a professor, he is well-spoken and clever, but while a good teacher, he does not like to repeat himself, nor tolerate inattentive students. He is also a harsh grader.
Other details: 5'8.5", slender, with steel gray eyes; magically styles his hair in a fashion that makes it look like he was recently electrocuted.

Short Description or History: Lorcan has dark brown hair and eyes the color of pale slate, a clear contrast to the light hair and bright eyes of his twin and his mother. The differences are not only superficial. Lorcan has no taste for the naturalist lifestyle of his parents, nor any interest in magical creatures like his brother; and, firmly seated in the Slytherin house, is none too giving of himself, either. In fact, Lorcan is a cool-headed manipulator, and he's got patience in spades. He follows rules to a fault, if only because he is obsessed with gaining people's trust; he gains people's trust only because he wants power and control.

Clean-cut and by-the-book, Lorcan prefers to work quietly and efficiently towards his goals. As head boy and a top student, and willing to sell anyone for the right price, he foresees little difficulty in his future achieving them - whatever those might be. Lorcan shares a civil relationship with his fraternal twin Lysander. Though they used to be much closer, Lorcan makes an effort to keep his distance, concerned with the unsubtle and lawbreaking ways of his brother. Lorcan prefers a more subdued approach.

Lorcan is a talented wizard in a passive sense, but has no displayed much success in the field of offensive or otherwise particularly active magic. As such, Defense Against the Dark Arts and Transfiguration are not his best subjects, in direct contrast to his twin. Lorcan excels in magical concepts like History of Magic and Ancient Runes, and has an admirable green thumb. He is also quite accomplished in charms.

Short Description or History: Varian's social skills never really developed past the Freudian ego stage, wherein an individual is concerned with their own needs and wants and emotions. Fortunately for Varian, though, he was sorted into Slytherin, where this kind of self-centered behavior is totally normal. More fortunately still, his tendency toward a lack of conscience leads him to a greater mind for studies, which is likely why he did so well on his O.W.L. exams, and why he continues to do well in his classes. Varian's weakness lies in that he does lean toward gossip, slander, lies, and all other forms of utter bitchiness. In his uncaring and unapologetic nature, one can imagine how many friends Varian must attract. Slytherin house is rather the place for someone so - hrm - ambitious as him.

Short Description or History: Iago Extispicy is a small and excitable man, with a deceptively deep voice. He is an accomplished seer, whose abilities first presented themselves when he was fourteen years old and predicted the untimely death of his professor's pet. This made him somewhat unpopular with said professor, but nonetheless he became of intense interest to many, and his abilities were well-fostered.

As a professor, he can be a little disturbing, and chooses to divine the future in his classroom in ways that are to some distasteful (the use of animal intestines, for instance). He also occasionally sends himself into magically-induced trances. While Extispicy can be alarming, it's difficult to argue with results. He is a very knowing presence, both due to his clairvoyant abilities and his propensity to eavesdrop on everyone around him.
Other details: 5'6" and spider-thin, with tanned skin, black hair that is slicked back against his skull, and a pointed goatee. He wears thin gold spectacles on the bridge of his nose and snug-fitting suits that are usually acid green.

Short Description or History: Tristan Yaxley isn't a tall man, but what he lacks in height he makes up for in girth. Broad of shoulder and narrow of waist, Yaxley is an intimidating presence, weighing several stone of muscle. In school, he was an ill-tempered, foul-mouthed bully, compensating for his blood during a time when it wasn't safe to be a muggleborn in Slytherin (if such a time exists). Though good with numbers and smart in his own way, he did only passably in school, excelling the most in Ancient Runes. He considered becoming a cursebreaker for Gringotts for a while.

That is until Yaxley was scouted in his seventh year at Hogwarts. He played chaser for the Slytherin team for most of his Hogwarts career, though he'd always preferred to play as keeper; when he was scouted, he played professional Quidditch under the radar for several years of his life, finally hitting it big when Irish National's beater retired to raise a family. Though his favored position was again unavailable, he didn't hesitate to audition for the position of beater when given the opportunity to do so. After hitting bludgers for Ireland for a few years, he eventually won keeper.

After 23 fulfilling years playing professional Quidditch, Yaxley chose his own successor and returned to his alma mater to show Hogwarts students how to work a broomstick.
