Ravenclaw Tower is located on the west side of the castle, up from a fifth floor staircase.

The domed ceiling of the circular Ravenclaw common room is painted with stars; the book cases are crammed to their brims with tomes on every subject imaginable. A door on the opposite side of the room from the entrance leads to the dormitories.

Ravenclaw Common Room Empty Re: Ravenclaw Common Room

Post  Lysander Lovegood Mon Nov 22, 2010 2:15 pm

Lysander stretched himself out he was stiff from being in the chair all day but he could not tear himself away from the book he had recently gotten from the library. Since hearing that the tri-wizard tournament would be held at Beauxbatons, he had set out on learning all he could about the palace and surrounding country side. Granted the information was far and not much to work with he still tried. He had discovered however that it had resided somewhere on the coast line of France. With that knowledge he had secured the book he was currently reading, Horrific Leviathans, he was completely fascinated by what he was learning. It was that very fascination that had cost him to lose track of time, grumbling in frustration he stood somewhat stiff from the long read in front of the fire.

He set off in search of a quill, and his Arithmancy book. His homework was not going to do itself. Even despite Arithmancy coming so easy to Lysander he found that he kept making mistakes in his calculations as his mind kept wandering back to the book that lay by his side beckoning to be read.
